June 9, 2005: FAA awards contract to SRA for financial management work
SRA Spectrum appeared in a Government Computer News article on Monday June 9th 2005.
The Federal Aviation Administration has awarded a six-year, $97 million contract to SRA International Inc. to provide technical support for the agency's Financial Management Line of Business Center of Excellence, the company announced.
Under the contract, SRA of Fairfax, Va., will create a strategic plan for the Center of Excellence, develop a framework for executing projects and implement enterprise resource planning solutions using Oracle's federal financials enterprise software. The project will provide the technical services needed to implement financial management systems across the federal government.
SRA's team includes IBM Corp., SRA Spectrum and Vigotsky & Associates LLC.
The work was awarded under the Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners 2 Innovations contract, a multiple-award contract vehicle managed by the National Institutes of Health and open to all federal agencies.
The Enterprise Services Center was created by the Transportation Department in the 1980s to provide a dedicated team of professionals to support the business needs of its agencies. Its mission is to provide integrated business services and solutions to the federal government.

SRA Spectrum appeared in a Washington Post Newspaper article on Monday July 5th 2004 on Page E04.
Northrop Grumman's IT unit in Herndon will install and maintain
a new human resources management system known as MAXHR for the
Homeland Security Department under a contract worth up to $175
million. The contract was awarded after a competition among vendors.
Northrop Grumman IT's subcontractors include Watson Wyatt Worldwide
of Washington, Gene Rouleau & Associates Inc. of Silver Spring,
BearingPoint Inc. of McLean, Catapult Technology Ltd. of Bethesda,
SRA Spectrum of Vienna and STG International
Inc. of Alexandria. Northrop Grumman IT will help the department
establish human resources policies, create procedures to implement
the policies, implement a pilot human resources management system
and gradually move all 180,000 Homeland Security Department employees
to the system over the three years of the project.
The system will take over the human resource functions now performed by about 20 different software systems. Those systems are used by the 22 agencies that were merged into the department in January 2003.

Enterprise Architecture (FEA) is a business and performance-based
framework to support cross-agency collaboration, transformation,
and government-wide improvement. It provides OMB and the Federal
agencies with a new way of describing, analyzing, and improving
the Federal Government and its ability to serve the citizen.

May 2, 2005: 1st Annual TNT Charity Open
The 1st Annual TNT Charity Open Golf
Tournament was held on May 2nd. This exciting charity tournament supported "The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society" which
is dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and
patient services.
Some of the many highlights included golf awards, gourmet box lunches and driving range and putting green facilities.
November 16, 2004: Candidate Reception
SRA Spectrum Candidate Reception was a great success. Invited guests meet to share an evening with the President of SRA Spectrum and our Senior Management Team. Held at The Ritz Carlton, our guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d 'oeuvres as we talked about our vision, the company and employment opportunities. A special presentation was given by our President Sonu Singh on Career Opportunities in Enterprise Technologies in the Government.
November 11, 2004: Fight Night
SRA Spectrum was the proud supporter of Fight for Children through
its sponsorship of the Fight Night Event. SRA Spectrum supports
the mission of Fight for Children: to create brighter futures
for children by helping them access excellent education, healthcare
and mentoring opportunities.
March 2004: A Night for The Children
SRA Spectrum sponsored A Night for the Children's benefit gala
put together by the Children's Inn at NIH. The Children's Inn
is a non-profit family-centered residence for pediatric outpatients
at the National Institutes of Health and for their families.
Its purposes are to keep children together with their families
during serious illness, reduce their stress and facilitate
their healing through mutual support.
